Job Description
Position: CAD Designer (AutoCAD 2D – Korean Speaker)
Location: Taylor, TX (On-Site) Salary: $62,000 – $70,000 (Based on experience) Employment Type: Full-Time (W-2)We are a growing low voltage construction company specializing in data cabling, security systems, and access control installations . We're looking for a CAD Designer who can fluently use Autodesk AutoCAD (2D) to create clear and accurate construction drawings. Experience with 3D modeling is a strong plus.
As most of our project coordination and communication involves Korean-speaking teams, proficiency in Korean is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, update, and maintain 2D construction drawings for low voltage systems (data, CCTV, access control)
Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure drawings reflect field conditions
Maintain organized drawing files and follow version control standards
Support documentation for permit applications or submittals
Assist with basic 3D layout when needed (if applicable)
Requirements:
Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D)
Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent experience in a related field).
Experience in low voltage , electrical , security , or construction drawings
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standards
Korean language proficiency (spoken & written)
Eligible to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with AutoCAD 3D , Revit , or other BIM software
Understanding of low voltage system design and construction workflows
Prior experience working on commercial or industrial job sites
